2016 Travel Awards

The Association of Research Libraries and the conference planning committee have awarded 10 outstanding individuals travel awards to attend the 2016 Library Assessment Conference in Arlington, Virginia, on October 31–November 2.

The Library Assessment Conference Travel Awards are offered to students and early-career professionals from historically underrepresented racial and ethnic groups who have demonstrated a strong interest in assessment and have the potential to contribute to the profession by deploying and developing innovative assessment and evaluation methods and strategies. Each award includes free conference registration and $1,000 to cover the costs of transportation, lodging, meals, and workshops at this year’s conference. This sixth Library Assessment Conference is co-sponsored by the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and the University of Washington (UW) Libraries.

The 2016 Library Assessment Conference Travel Award recipients are:

The awardees were selected by a committee composed of members of the ARL Diversity and Inclusion Committee, the ARL Assessment Committee, and the Library Assessment Conference Planning Committee.
