2016 Library Assessment Conference Final Paper Guidelines

Important Deadlines:
December 15, 2016: Final papers and short papers due

Papers and short papers will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be freely and openly available via the conference website. Poster abstracts and PDF versions of posters will also be available on the conference website. Authors retain the copyright to their original work and are encouraged to publish their work in other established venues and professional journals.

Final Paper Format:

  • Papers should be approximately 3,000–5,000 words. Short papers should be approximately 2,000–3,000 words.

  • You may include a 1 or 2 paragraph abstract. Images, charts, tables, and appendices are welcome.

  • If your paper includes references, please use endnotes (not parentheticals or footnotes) and comply with the Chicago Manual of Style citation guide.

  • Please be sure to upload it as a Word document.

  • Please keep formatting to a minimum. All papers will be formatted using a consistent template.
